To ensure effective operation of the Housekeeping Department in line with Housekeeping Budget.
To direct and coordinate activities such as cleaning, maintenance, storage issues and maintenance of uniforms.
Regular inspection of Medical Units and Hospital areas to ensure preservation of cleanliness, repairs, and maintenance.
To regularly monitor the activities of housekeeping, Linens, Incinerator, gardening and fumigation schedules.
To identify the requirements of supplies regarding staff uniform and patient linens. Also to maintain and check the standards of linen.
To ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of incinerator. Also to ensure that proper safety measures are taken by the staff while operating incinerator.
To submit a monthly report to Director Administration regarding the entire five main sections of his/her department i.e., Laundry and fumigation schedules, discarded linens, gardening and incinerator issues.
Conduct regular meetings with all housekeeping Supervisors/employees to provide feedback and direction, assist with problem solving.
Hands on Experience of JCI standards implementation will be added advantage.
Develop and monitor Department KPIs
Any other taks assigned by management.
